Frans Silveniusis a researcher in national Research Institute Finland and his role is an LCA-expert in calculations and does advisory work in data collection. His input is related to the calculation part of the life-cycle assessments to reporting the results of the technological survey.
Frans is an LCA-expert and that’s why he works at the project. Frans has 13 years expertise of life cycle assessment and in additionhis master’s thesis in 1997 was concerning LCA and wastewater treatment technology. He wants to develop his knowledge of different wastewater treatment technologies and also to develop further his skills after his master’s thesis of LCA of wastewater treatment technology.
Frans became interested to eutrophication impacts of water system in his hobby, which is birdwatching. Frans thinks that the project can make the wastewater treatment in Baltic Sea area more effective.
VillageWaters suggest most effective wastewater treatment solutions in scattered dwellings households, which use their own, independently operated water purification systems.
Environmentally oriented families and homeowners, who live in scattered dwellings areas, where connecting to larger wastewater plants is not option because rural distances.
