in your village and aroundDr. Algirdas Radzevicius is the member of science group from Lithuania working in project VillageWaters. A. Radzevicius is director of Hydraulic Engineering Institute at Aleksandras Stulginskis University, where he teaches corses on water and wastewater treatment technologies. Algirdas specializes in modeling of hydraulic processes, research of wastewater treatment technologies and wastewater networks engineering.
Algirdas is responsible for the technical and economic assessment of wastewater treatment plants and technologies used in the Lithuanian countryside and the selection of waste water treatment technology in Šilutě District Leitgiriai village pilot project. He maintains close contact with the water supply company UAB Šilutěs vandenys, which is responsible for water supply and sewage disposal in Šilutě district.
Algirdas does not doubt that this project will reveal the best wastewater treatment technologies applied in rural areas and will show the ways for village communities to engage in reducing their habitat and the Baltic Sea pollution. | ||
VillageWaters Project
VillageWaters suggest most effective wastewater treatment solutions in scattered dwellings households, which use their own, independently operated water purification systems.
