in your village and aroundLaima Cesoniene is professor of Institute of Environment and Ecology of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. Her interests of the research fields are water quality, assessment of impact of concentrated and diffused pollution on surface water bodies.
Laima has been working in the Baltic Sea issues in previous projects BERAS implementation and the state of the Baltic Sea is her main subject of concern. To save the Baltic Sea, we need to take responsibility and work together. We are responsible for treating and recycling our own wastewater.
Laima hopes that the results of this projects will help to reduce organic and nutrient loads to receiving water bodies, and thus to improve the state of the local waters as well as of the entire Baltic Sea. | ||
